Japan Tourist Visa Requirements

To apply for a Japan visa, make sure you prepare the following documents:

Valid Passport

At least 6 months’ validity, with 2 blank pages and your signature.

Visa Application Form

Completely filled out, either typed or handwritten in black ink.

Recent Passport Photo

4.5 cm x 4.5 cm, white background, taken within the last 6 months.

PSA Birth Certificate

Issued within the last year (from PSA Main Office or Serbilis Outlet).

PSA Marriage Certificate

Only if married, issued within the last year.

Daily Schedule in Japan (Itinerary)

Simple outline of your planned activities, printed on A4.

List of Applicants

Only if applying as a family or group, with a key applicant indicated.

Proof of Finances

Bank certificate (issued within the last 3 months) and latest ITR (Form 2316).
